Riverstone is now hiring for the 2015 season

We are gearing up for another busy season. Our high tunnels are filling up with spring crops, we’re working in the fields  and our sheep are lambing. Currently we are looking for interested people who want to work hard with a crew of enthusiastic young farmers and to learn as much as they can.

For this coming harvest season start June 1 to August 1 and last to November 1; we ask for a commitment to work to the end of the season.

Please contact Clem at riverstone@swva.net to inquire.

Positions available

Farm Worker: Must be willing to get dirty and tired and work in diverse weather conditions. Full-time or part-time hours available.

Delivery Driver: Must have a clean driving record, be flexible with scheduling, and be able to lift boxes of produce repeatedly. ~35 hrs/week (additional hours working on the farm are a possibility for the right candidate)

Pay is hourly, starting at $7.50/hr DOE.  Assistance with housing may be available; please inquire.

We are always interested in enthusiastic workers who live in, or feel a pull towards, this area.  Please contact riverstone@swva.net for more information and to request an application.
